How Counseling Can Help
We all need help from others from time to time. Not even one of us came in to this world by ourselves and we are not meant to go through life’s struggles alone. You can find healing and see progress in your life by reaching out and giving counseling a try. I am a solution-focused, trauma-sensitive, collaborative therapist and I am highly motivated to help you achieve your goals as quickly as possible. If you are interested in approaching therapy from a faith-based perspective I am happy to include that in our work as well.
Interventions I Use
Client-Centered approach, Motivational Interviewing, EMDR (Eye movement, Desensitization, and Reprocessing), CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), Walk Talk Therapy, as well as others.
My Fees
- $150 for a 50 minute telehealth session. Occasionally I am able to provide in-person services for $165 per 50 minute session.
- I accept payments in the form of cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, or American Express. I use a HIPAA certified encrypted payment platform called Ivy Pay, that will text you an invitation to enter payment type on their site that they will retain. I do not have to know the numbers at all. After that, Ivy Pay will charge you automatically when I submit a request for payment and Ivy Pay will send you a notice that your card has been charged. You can cancel Ivy Pay's access to your payment account at any time.
- I do not take insurance at this time, although as a courtesy I can provide a summary of services to submit to your insurance company for possible reimbursement.
- Health care providers are legally required to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services. This is known as a Good Faith Estimate. You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services. You may ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service. If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you may dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate. For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises or call (800) 985-3059.
